Target audience

Housing Residents who were unemployed or on low income who were looking to re-skill or upskill in order to gain employment or change their career direction.

Programme Outline

  • A programme of 12 interactive, blended learning face-to-face and online training courses to be delivered.
  • Topics included Event Planning, Customer Service, Business Administration, Business Start Ups and Data Protection and Data Security – all topics related across all sectors.
  • ‘Job Ready’ to secure employment.
  • Designed to increase employment skills and knowledge as well as self esteem and confidence.

Outcome

  • A total of 250+ attendees completes training during this period
  • 93.9% of participants achieved an accredited qualification as a result!
  • Many progressed to employment or further upskilling
